大江南北暑气渐起，夏昼愈长，日光融融，万物繁茂。

夏季第一个节气——立夏来了。

The heating wave is gradually emerging all across China.

Summer daylight is longer and longer, breeding all creatures.

Here comes the first solar term in this season:Beginning of Summer.

古人迎立夏，有“秤人”“斗蛋”的习俗。上秤称人，以求不被炎热的夏季消减，告别灾病缠身；孩童们斗蛋竞技，角逐“蛋王”，祈求健康度夏,不为夏日所苦。

To welcome it, people weigh themselves to avoid losing weight in hot summer. Children join in the Egg Fight and pick out the toughest one, to pray for strength and health.

初夏时节，蝼蝈齐鸣，蚯蚓并出，植物汲取阳光雨露，茁壮生长。

仿佛触手可及的无垠碧空和云海翻腾，

时而带着惊雷声声、阵雨连连，

时而伏身挡住似火骄阳，温柔拥抱大地。

In early summertime, insects climb out and sing their songs. Plants thrive by absorbing sunshine and raindrops.

Endless sky and surging clouds are so close, as if they were touchable.

Sometimes they bring thunder and rain,

while sometime they gently hug the ground, blocking out the burning sunlight.
