作为夏日的最后一个节气，大暑毫不吝惜地将一年中的阳光雨露挥洒到了极致。

高温酷热、雨量充沛的三伏天里，人们创造了各种避暑良方。有人喜欢“绿树阴浓夏日长”，轻摇蒲扇卧听清风蝉鸣；有人选择与水亲近，看飞流直下三千尺，千寻雪浪飞。广东地区则有大暑食用烧仙草的习俗，以求清热解暑，补充能量。

As the last Solar Term in summer, Major Heat generously gives out the maximum amount of energy.

People find various ways to beat the heat in the dog days. Some relax under the shade and listen to singing cicadas. Some choose to get close to water and enjoy waterfalls and waves. In the area of Guangdong, people eat grass jelly to avoid the bother of summer heat.
