立秋，暑气未消、盛夏未远，二十四节气进入下半场。

“大暑小暑不算暑，立秋处暑正当暑。”尚未出伏，烈日依旧灼灼，立秋时节有“咬秋”，“贴秋膘”的习俗，人们在吃西瓜消暑和炖肉食补中等待秋风起，梧桐叶落。

Beginning of Autumn has brought 24 solar terms into the second half, yet summer is still in heat.

There was an old saying in China, "Beginning of Autumn is indeed the hottest period of a year." It is customary to "bite autumn" and "add autumn fat" at this day. People eat watermelon and braise meat, waiting for the autumn wind to blow and the buttonwood leaves to fall.
