秋季的第二个节气——处暑，本意味着“暑气到此为止”，而在夏日漫长的南方，骄阳正如金虎，令热意不减，暑气蒸腾。

End of Heat, the second solar term of autumn, has the original meaning as you can literally see. Yet in South China with long summer, the scorching sun and heat is not reduced.

处暑节气，人们祭祖迎秋，吃鸭肉，煎药茶，沿水而居的劳动人民还会放河灯，制小船，向海神祈求平安。每年此时，沿海各地纷纷迎来开渔期，人们守候一整个夏季，收获了浩瀚海洋回赠的珍宝。

To celebrate the coming autumn, people worship ancestors, eat duck meat and drink herbal tea. People who live by water usually make small boats and put them into water to pray for safety. It is also the beginning of annual fishing period. People wait for a whole summer, and reaped the treasure of the ocean.

漫长的天际线勾勒出海的剪影，暮云如涌向天空的浪花，卷起温热的气流，将晚霞羽化为人们翘首盼望的，前方不远的金秋。

Long skyline draws the sketch of the sea. Dusk clouds are rushing to the sky, like rustling waves, rolling up the warm airflow. The golden evening glow becomes the precious autumn in people's dream.
